Here's some information to help you plan your trek: Location: Ratangad Fort is situated near the village of Ratanwadi in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, approximately 180 kilometers from Mumbai and 240 kilometers from Pune. Difficulty: The trek to Ratangad Fort is considered moderate in difficulty. It usually takes around 3-4 hours to reach the top, depending on your pace and fitness level. The trek involves ascending rocky terrain and traversing through dense forests. The elevation of Ratangad Fort is approximately 1,297 meters (4,255 feet) above sea level. Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Ratangad Fort is during the monsoon season (June to September) when the surroundings are lush green and the weather is pleasant. However, the fort can also be visited during other seasons, but the trekking experience may vary. Attractions: Ratangad Fort: The main attraction is, of course, the fort itself, which offers panoramic views of the Sahyadri mountain range and the surrounding valleys.
