Ankai Fort :- This fort is located in the Nashik - Manmad region. Ankai fort has 7 rings of fortifications crossing the Hindu cut rock - cut temple. The importance of the winding steps was it would provide a great defending from the enemy who would get attacked by the enemies, in the last part of the steps the width of the steps is so small that hardly one or two men could even step and the defenders from the fort could throw stones on the enemies. A good technique of protection was they would keep firewood at the entrance and when the enemies reach the entrance they would fire the wood keeping the enemies away from the fire. It is said that there was a treasure chamber behind the last gateway in a curious domed building. Ankai has square water tank with an ancient sculpture in the centre. On the top of the fort had buildings they were destroyed hence only ruins are left on the fort.  Tankai Fort :- Tankai fort is more flat and less in height than the Ankai fort. The plateau is covered with grass and always windy horses are grazed in the grass on the fort. No shelter is available on the fort but a half collapsed shiva temple can be seen. The shiva temple is built of large stone in blocks with stone carvings and Nandi in front of the temple looking the shrine of the Shiva linga. Katra Fort :- After passing Mammad towards Aurangabad one can see a pinnacle standing tall which is known by the name of “Hadbichi Shendi” or “Thumbs Up”. Near this pinnacle there is a hill which stands separated from the Ajantha – Saatmal mountain range on which Katra fort is located. The Highest forts in Maharashtra, Salher stands adjacent to Salota Fort in Selbari Mountain Range in Baglan region, Nasik district of Maharashtra at the height of 5141 ft approx. Mulher-Mora and Hargad fort is in the Dolbar Mountain Range. The fiercest and the largest open battle between Mughals and Marathas was fought here in the year 1671 and won by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Ghanchakkar Fort :-Ghanchakkar 1,532 metres is the *Third highest* peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadri mountain ranges in western India. Its neighbouring peak Muda 1,520 metres is the fourth highest peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadris.  Bhairavgad (Shirpunje) :- 1145 mtrs.This fort is believe to be ancient and almost 2500 years old. This fort has only few ruins and remains on the top. There are two big caves on the top in which one cave is a shrine of Lord Bhairavnath and another cave is used for residence purpose. There are many water tanks on the top. The idol in the cave is very good carved painted and is well maintained by the villagers. Devkund Waterfall is a magnificent natural attraction located near Bhira village in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. It is celebrated for its stunning beauty and tranquil environment. The waterfall is formed by the convergence of three streams and descends from a height of around 80 feet, creating a mesmerizing cascade that flows into a clear water pool below. Plus Valley is a beautiful plus shaped valley situated in the Tamhini region.The rappelling starts over the famous Devkund waterfall and the landing point is beside Devkund pool. The waterfall is seasonal but Devkund pool still has water. Plus Valley trek involves descending down the valley to rappelling start point, the trek goes through the woods and enough shade is available. About 1.5 hrs of trekking, which is all downhill, is required to reach the rappelling start point. Another 1.5 hrs trek from the finish point to the base village. One of the standout features of Devkund Waterfall is the pristine and crystal-clear pool it generates. This pool offers an excellent spot for swimming and enjoying the refreshing waters. The remarkable clarity of the water allows visitors to observe the underwater landscape, adding to the allure of the location.
