Madheghat is 62 kilometers west of Pune It is at the rear of Rajgad Fort and Torna Fort Madhe Ghat is the backwater end of Bhatghar Dam The original name of this waterfall is Lakshmi waterfall and this waterfall is at a height of 850 meters above sea level.The area is full of dense forest and various medicinal plants  The locality holds a special place in history because when Tanaji Malusare fought the battle at Sinhagad, Madhe Ghat was used to carry his body to his village in Poladpur for his last rites.From here there is a wide view of Varandha Ghat and Shivtharghal as well as Jawli Valley.

Get ready to explore "Natural Bridge" less routine trek. While Travelling from Khubi Phata/Khireshwar way on our right side we can see a huge mountain range over their Hatakeshwar is situated. There are 2ways to Reach the top of Hateshwar Temple 1) Godre and Kolewadi Village.  From Kolewadi (base village) we are able to see a naturally formed Bridge / Needle hole (Nedha) Which is a join of Hatkeshwar, “NAVRA” – “NAVRI” & “VARADHI”. It takes around 3 hr to reach the top on there. In route, we can see lots of “NANDI’s”, Local Villager’s offers stone-carved Nandi’s (a statue of a bull found in all Shiva temples) to Lord Shiva as it's a common belief that by offering such Nandi's to Shiva, there wish will get fulfilled.
